Norman K. Dumond
LEWISTON - Norman K. Dumond, 72 of 14 Granite Ave., Auburn, died Thursday, April 5, at d'Youville Pavillion.
Born in Wallagrass, April 4, 1929, the son of ALbert J. and Isabelle (Labbe) Dumond, Sr., he was educated in Wallagrass schools.
Mrs. Dumond married Ellie (Evans) Richards on April 15, 1978. He worked for the City of Lewiston's Public Works Department, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and the Pastime Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and animals.
Survivors include his wife of Auburn; a son, Gerard and his fiancee, Peggy of Wales; a step-son, Michael Richards and his wife, Sandra of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Amber and Jeremy Dumond; two stepgrandchildren, Derek and Meghan Richards; five sisters, Juliette Voisine of Lisbon, Adrienne Levesque of Canterberry, Conn., Lucienne Evens of Auburn, Jeanne Hood of Farifield and Patricia Cote of Lewiston; and five brothers, Maurice of Greene, Patric of Lisbon, Harold of Lisbon, Adolphe of Auburn and Paul of Denver, Colo. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra; and three brothers, Albert, Jr., Ligorie and Richard.
