PUTNAM - Dorothy K. (Ziemski) Tremblay, 64, of 25 Buck St., a bartender, died Saturday in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband, Roger Tremblay, died in 1974. She leaves four sons, Roger A. Tremblay and Marc S. Tremblay, both of Southbridge, Kevin M. Tremblay of Putnam and Barry G. Tremblay of Thompson; four daughters, Cindy L. Tremblay, Donna M. Hibbard, Sharon A. Proulx, and Paula J. Lavallee, all of Southbridge; a brother, Thomas Ziemski of Uncasville, Conn.; three sisters, Mary Champagne of Putnam, Margaret Shaffer of Columbus, Ohio, and Pauline McKissick Caron of Thompson; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Webster, daughter of John and Kathryn (Quigg) Ziemski.
She was a bartender at Jack's Cafe, Southbridge, and previously worked at Ma Frosty's Restaurant.
She was active in the Southbridge Elks Lodge.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 30 Charlton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
