Southbridge - Yvette P. (Bernard) Martin, 78, of South Street, died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Umass Memorial Healthcare Center, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester.

Mrs. Martin was the second born of 13 children born to the late Adelard and Celia "Winifred" (Moran) Bernard. She was born in Southbridge on April 3, 1938. Her husband of 50 years, Francis R. Martin, died August 7, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Darleen Farland and her husband, Paul, of Sturbridge; two sons, Arthur Martin and his wife, Amanda, of Southbridge, and John Martin and his wife, Emma, of Southbridge; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Farland, Nathan Gonzalez, Nicholas Buccheri, Zachary Martin, TJ Lackings, Victoria Martin, and Hunter Addison Martin; 1 great-grandson, Alack Farr; ten siblings, Marie Williams of Reed Plantation, ME, Lucille White of Charlton, MA, Adelard Bernard, Jr. of Wildwood, FL, Paul Bernard of Charlton, Michael Bernard of Webster, David Bernard of Zephyr Hills, FL, Theresa St. Laurent of Zephyr Hills, FL, Elizabeth Tremblay of Southbridge, Robert Bernard of Norway, ME, and Elaine Bernard of Southbridge; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two infant sisters.

Together with her husband, Mrs. Martin owned and operated the Hospital Spa in Southbridge for 55 years. She was very devoted to her family, her store, and her customers, and she enjoyed trips to the ocean.

The funeral Mass will be Friday, April 22, 2016, at 10AM, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery, Paige Hill, Southbridge. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 7-9PM at the funeral home.
