SOUTHBRIDGE - Wilma R. (Lindsey) Baker, 64, of 45 Guelphwood Road died Saturday night in Harrington Memorial Hospital after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 46 years, William A. Baker; two daughters, Sherry Bowren of Southbridge and Shelly Power of Houston, Texas; a brother, Charles Lindsey of Houston; three sisters, Neta Phillips of Caney, Kan., Sandra Mowrar of Bartlesville, Okla., and Linda Rohr of Tulsa, Okla; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Herd, Okla., daughter of Wallace and Mabael (Sims) Lindsey, and lived here many years.

Mrs. Baker was a credit manager at American Optical Co., where she worked for 31 years. She retired last year. She was a member of the American Optical Quarter-Century Club.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Central Baptist Church, Main Street. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Oak Ridge Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity. Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., is directing arrangements.
