2011 - Wife's Obituary

SOUTHBRIDGE...Fedora E. (Hufault) Renaud, 91, a former resident of Guelphwood Rd died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Radius Healthcare Center in Southbridge where she had been a resident for the last 4yrs. She was the wife of the late George A. Renaud who died in 1986. She leaves a son Marc and his wife Nancy Renaud of Sturbridge (Fiskdale), and 2 daughters Georgette and her husband Ronald Corriveau of Southbridge, and Linda Lewandowski of Woodstock CT, and a son-in-law John Lewandowski of Webster, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Louise Bates of Woodstock Valley, CT (2003) , a grandson Russell Corriveau (1983) and twin great-great-grandsons Ayden and Brayden Berry-Vega, 4 brothers Levi, Edgar "Coke", Omer and Leopold "Paully" Hufault, and a sister Jeannette Milas.

She was born in Southbridge, Aug. 13, 1919, daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Arcoite) Hufault. She was educated at Assumption Academie in Nicolet, Canada and was an avid parishioner of Notre Dame Church in Southbridge, and the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.

Mrs. Renaud and her late husband owned and operated Renaud's Furniture & Appliance in Southbridge, which is now owned by their son Marc and his wife Nancy.

The funeral will be Thursday, March 24th, from Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy Street Southbridge with a Mass at 9AM at Notre Dame Church 446 Main St. Southbridge. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery N. Woodstock Rd. Southbridge. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
