SOUTHBRIDGE - Alfred J. Lippe, 51, of 39 Old Sturbridge Rd., died early yesterday in Harrington Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He leaves his wife, Mary L. (Wiegmann) Lippe; two sons, Keith and Kirk Lippe, both of Cartaret, N.J.; his father, Romeo A. Lippe of Webster; a brother, Francis Lippe of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Linda Moore; and three grandchildren.

He was born in Southbridge, a son of Mr. Lippe and the late Katherine (Sirois) Lippe.

He was employed at the A and M Tool and Die Co.

Mr. Lippe was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club.

The funeral will be held Monday from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton St.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
