Wilhelm August Erdman THEINERT
Biography

"In 1914, Erdman was nominated as a candidate for RI Governor by the Socialist Party. He received approximately 1450 votes.

All of the children graduate from the Albion Grammar School. Walter and William work the farm with Erdman. Anne goes on to become a nurse and Lillian a school teacher.

February 18, 1919, Rosalie marries Paul Schwarze (B. Germany 1891), and they live in an apartment in Pawtucket, RI. Paul’s mother, Emma, lives in the apartment above. Their son, Erdman Paul is born on March 2, 1927. Erdman told me they owned the State Line Garage
(Pawtucket/ South Attleboro State Line). They lived across and down the street from the garage. Eventually, when his Dad became more involved in the weaving mill, he sold the garage. Rosalie met Paul when she worked as a secretary in the mill. Paul and family move to Newton, NJ in 1935 to work for another weaving company. (See copy of a note from Lou/ Erdman regarding his parents.)

On November 9, 1928 Lillian marries Alfred H. Equi. They have three girls: Marjorie, Eleanor and Martha.

Sometime prior to 1930, Anne marries Charles Hoyt Theinert (Herman’s son, Erdman’s nephew). Charles was born in New York City. He and Anne live in the City; he works on Wall Street, and Anne is a head nurse in a New York Hospital. They live on Staten Island. Charles (referred to as Hoyt) worked on Wall Street and left just before the "big crash". They moved to the MA/ RI area. Hoyt dies in 19 . Aunt Anne buys the old Winsor place on Pleasant View Avenue in Greenville and opens the Theinert House for Convalescents in 1946.

On September 8, 1930, Erdman has a heart attack and dies at the farm in Albion. Walter and William take over running the farm."
