"…I Abram Smith of Bethlem in the County of Litchfield and the State of Connecticut and Conservator of Isaac Smith of Woodbury in said County by virtue of an order of the County Court for Litchfield County to sell so much of the real estate of the said Isaac Smith as will raise the sum of Nine hundred & eight dollars and eightynine cents, together with the incidental charges of sale, and authorizing and empowering me as Conservator aforesaid to make and perfect said sale - and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and twenty dollars received to my full satisfaction of Minot Smith of said Betlem, do grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Minot, all the right title interest claim and demand which the said Isaac Smith has in and to one equal undivided half or moiety of the following described piece of parcel of Land Mills and geering situate in said Woodbury and Bounded as follows… (description of location of property -- appears to be a Saw Mill and Shingle Mill with tools)."
