Alfred J. Lippe

SOUTHBRIDGE - Alfred J. Lippe, 51, of 39 Old Sturbridge Rd., died early today in Harrington Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He leaves his wife, Mary L. (Wiegmann) Lippe; his father, Romeo A. Lippe of Webster; two sons, Keith and Krik Lippe, both of Cartaret, N.J.; a brother, Francis Lippe of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Linda Moore, and three grandchildren.

He was born in Southbridge, a son of Mr. Lippe and the late Katherine (Sirois) Lippe.

He was employed at the A and M Tool and Die Co.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, in which he served with the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club.

The funeral will be Monday from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 13 Hamilton St., with an 11 a.m. Mass in St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton St.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Calling hours are for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 51 Union Place, Worcester, Mass., 01608.
