Alice E. Jubinville, 71

LEICESTER - Alice E. (Barnes) Jubinville, 71, of 1671 Main St. died yesterday in Fairlawn Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.

Mrs. Jubinville was a sales clerk at the former W. T. Grant Co. in Worcester for 13 years, retiring several years ago.

She graduated from Oxford High School.

Mrs. Jubinville was a member of St Piux X Church and its Women's Guild, the Leicester Senior Citizens and the United Commercial Travelers Auxilliary.

She leaves her husband, Joseph A. Jubinville; two sons, Richard E. and Kevin F. Jubinville, both of Leicester; a daughter, Carol A., wife of Eugene J. Vassar of Jefferson; two brothers, Robert Barnes of Worcester and John Jaskoviak of Northampton; four sisters, Dorothy Patrazza of Worcester, Frances Magnan, Mary, wife of James Nickolson, and Ella McCullough, all of Oxford; seven grand-children and several nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of John B. Barnes and Sara A. (Furness) Barnes Jsaskoviak, and later lived in Oxford. She lived here 48 years.

The funeral will be held Tuesday from Morrison Funeral Home, 1131 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1163 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
