Albert J. Jubinville

Albert J. Jubinville, 81, of 25 Bottomley Ave., Cherry Valley, died this morning in City Hospital.

Born in Webster, he was a son of the late Uldege and Delina (Gendron) Jubinville, and lived in Cherry Valley many years. His wife, Mrs. Amelia E. (Kayer) Jubinville, died two years ago.

Mr. Jubinville served 55 years as St. Joseph's Church in Leicester, and was a member of the Holy Name Society of the parish.

He retired in 1952 after working more than 45 years as a spinner at Worcester Spinning & Finishing CO., Cherry Valley. Until three years ago, he was a custodian at St. Joseph's School.

He leaves two sons, Joseph A. Jubinville of Leicester and Edward J. Jubinville of Cherry Valley; a daughter, Lillian E., wife of Roy L. Ashe of Cherry Valley; three brothers, Arthur Jubinville of Worcester and Henry and Theophile Jubinville of Cherry Valley' seven grand-children; nine great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday from Morrison Funeral Home, Leicester, with a High Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Leicester. Burial will be there in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
