Norris E. Knowles Obituary
DeFuniak Springs, Florida - Norris E. Knowles, 76, formerly of Glenburn, ME, passed September 11, 2021, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was the son of the late Bertrand and June Knowles.

At his time of death, he was survived by his wife, Catherine (who passed a week later); daughters, Wanda and her family and Wendy and her family; Bill and his family; and granddaughter, Kayla and her family. Kayla is the daughter of Norris Jr., who predeceased his father. We were a blended family with stepdaughters, Robin and her family and Kim and her family. He was loved on both sides by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

His surviving siblings and their families are Merton, Milton, Margaret, June, Judy and Julia. He was predeceased by siblings, Mildred, Marie, Muriel, Maurice, Melvin and Jackie.

Norris graduated in 1963 from East Corinth Academy, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

His final request was to be laid to rest in Florida. He will be laid to rest along with his wife, Catherine at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL, on November 12, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no service. You are welcome to pay your respects while maintaining social distance after interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local VA or MS Association, mymsaa.org.
