erald J. Andrews, 78, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017.

He was born on June 11, 1939, in Blossburg, a son of Ernest "E.B" Andrews and Margaret (Sweet) Andrews. Gerald was the husband of Delphia (Hammock) Andrews.

He was a United States veteran having served in the Army, 101ST Airborne. He enjoyed playing horseshoes.

He is survived by his wife, Delphia; a son, Richard "Rick" (Kathy) Andrews of NewFreedom; three grandchildren, Christopher, James, Jennifer; five great-grandchildren, Kaedin, Brycen, Austin, Aiden, Justin; two brothers, Gary (Sandy) Andrews, Steve Andrews both of Wellsboro; four sisters, Linda (Louie) Covert of Wellsboro, Debbie (Danny) Neal of North Carolina, JoAnn (Gene) Andrews of Dayton, Ohio, Betsy (Larry) Tokarz of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Andrews.
