Anne T. Trombley, 94

Southbridge - Anne T. (Ayers) Trombley, 94, of Warren St., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 6th, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after an illness.

Her husband, Lawrence R. Trombley, died in 1989. She leaves two sons, Michael J. Trombley and his wife Lucille of Southbridge and Richard L. Trombley and his wife Rosa of Ecuador; her sister, Rose Luponi of Peabody; three grandchildren, Steven Trombley of Long Beach, CA, Erika Bryn of Southbridge and Brad Trombley of Woodbridge, TX; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Stover, Janessa Morales, Sean Trombley and Seth Trombley; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Ayers and John Ayers, and three sisters, Mary Weberg, Elizabeth Cunniff and J. Christina Gendron. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of William J. and Annie (Briody) Ayers.

Anne was a chief inspector in the frame department at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge, working there for over 40 years. She also worked part time in with her husband at the Spectown Diner in Southbridge. Anne was a member and former president of the Franco American Veterans Auxiliary in Southbridge.

Her funeral and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
