Payment of Insurance
SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 17, 1893.
Covenant Mutual Benefit Association of Galesburg, Illinois, A. W. Berggren, Esq., President.
DEAR SIR: - I have received this day of your general agent, Wm. Banaghan, office 34 Front street, Worcester, Mass., your draft, No. 7226, for $1,000, it being the amount in full on Policy No. 75412 held by my late wife, Abigail Lippe, in your company. Although my wife was only insured in your company five months and some days, and paid but $12,88, I have had no trouble in getting my money. When I went to Worcester with my policy to send to you I told your general agent, W. Banaghan, I was in need of some money and he asked me how much I needed. I told him $160 which he gave me right off, taking my receipt for the same. The treatment I have received from you and your representative, Mr. Banaghan, I shall never forget, and I assure you I am at a loss to find words how to express my feelings towards you, but I shall do all in my power to promote the interests of such a worthy institution as the Covenant Mutual Benefit Association. Assuring you my desire to do so,
I am Yours Most Respectfully,
EDMOND LIPPE
