She was successfully married
to the Rev. David Stearns if Lunenburg
and to the Rev. Aaron Whitney of Petersham
Both of whom she survived.
For Diligence, Patience, Piety and Knowledge
She was eminently distinguished
As this stone cannot tell all her virtues
As a wife she was prudent and faithful
As a mother discreet and tender
As a neighbor friendly and charitable
As a christian intelligent and exemplary
A life thus spent terminated with composure
On this first day of November 1788
