SOUTHBRIDGE -- Albert E. Laliberte, 82, of Dennison Lane, a retired cemetery superintendent, died Thursday, April 20, in Harrington Memorial Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Rita (Lanctot) Laliberte; three sons, Albert E. Laliberte Jr. of Brookfield, and Dennis and Paul Laliberte, both of Southbridge; two daughters, Joanne Roso of West Brookfield, and Mary Jane Chenier of Southbridge; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two foster children, Patricia Lamontagne and Lisa Ramsdell, both of Southbridge. He was born in Southbridge, son of Eusebe and Amanda (Demers) Laliberte. He was a Navy Seabees veteran of World War II.

Mr. Laliberte was superintendent of cemeteries at Notre Dame Church, retiring in 1979. He previously worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, Conn.

He was a member of Notre Dame Church and the Disabled American Veterans.
