Johnson LUNT was the child of Henry LUNT and Mary WINGATE


Johnson Lunt (Henry, Jr., Daniel, Henry), son of Henry, Jr. and Mary ; b. May 12, 1704; m. Joanna Bale, of York, Me., Mar. 31, 1726; dau. of Edward. He m. 2d, Mary Gibson, of Newbury, Mass., Dec 8, 1756. In his will, dated Mar. 17, 1767, proved July 27, 1767, mention is made of sons Benjamin, Joseph and David. He gave David one-fourth of the sloop which he owned with Joseph Greenlief, Grandson Johnson Lunt, the son of his son Benjamin ; Granddaughter Katherine, daughter of his son Josiah, her father's portion ; daughter Joanna, wife of Richard Pettingell. The other children were probably deceased.
