Despite the challenges, Lennon showed an early interest in music. His mother introduced him to the banjo and taught him to play, igniting his passion for melodies and chords.
Fast forward to the late 1950s, and Lennon found himself at the heart of the burgeoning rock and roll scene. In 1957, he formed a skiffle group called The Quarrymen with friends from school, including Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Little did they know, this was the beginning of something much bigger.
