Year: 1787; John Malone of Loudoun County executed a lease indenture with the Honorable George William Fairfax on 2 Mar 1787, for rental of 1000 acres of land in Loudoun County, for the yearly payment of two pounds, two shillings, six pence current money of Virginia, payable on the first day of May of each year, and that the indentured held John Malone and his two sons, Samuel Malone and Richard Malone equally and jointly liable to the terms and conditions of that contract.
