MIDDLETOWN, Conn.
Elsie Cabrini, 89, died May 20, 2002, at the Middlesex Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 3, 1912, in Barre, Vt., the daughter of Peter and Felicita (Cerutti) Chioldi. She attended Barre schools. In 1931, she married Peter Cabrini in Barre. They moved to New Britain from Barre more than 40 years ago. Mrs. Cabrini moved to Middletown when her husband died in 1978. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia haze of Middletown and Sandra Rizza of Phoenix, Ariz.; and five grandchildren. Besides her husband, a brother, Nevio Chioldi, and a sister, Lucy Newton, are deceased. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday at St. Monica Church in Barre. Burial will follow at the Hope Cemetery in Barre. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home in Barre.
