Born in Armstrong, he was the son of the late John David Goodine & the late Ethel (Hickey). He was employed as a Bridge foreman for the Dept. of Transportation. Alexander is survived by his wife, Thelma (Brimsacle); son, Alex (Heather) of Archibald; Stepchildren, Bobby Brimsacle (Valerie) of Sunnyside, Austin (Audrey) of Sunnyside, Marjorie Mihaljevich (John) of Black Point, Ida Savoie of St. Raphael, Barbara Hickey (Andrew) of Archibald; 20 grandchildren, 33 greatgrandchildren and one great greatgrandchild; brothers, Delphis, Sanford, Leslie and a sister Mary. He was predeceased by his brother, Mike; Sister, Hilda Hickey and stepdaughter, Marilyn. His funeral was held from St.Gabriels Church, Jacquet River, Monday, May 19, 2008 with burial in the parish Cemetery.
