Obituary
Jimmie L. Raper, 62, of West Jefferson Street, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Raper, a member of United Church of Paducah, was a former computer analyst for Laidlaw Corp. in Metropolis, Ill. He was also a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Joan D. Raper a son, David Raper of Hickory; three daughters, Rachel Raper Johnson of Paducah, Melonie Raper Zoeller of Flowery Branch, Ga., and Kathy Raper McClain of Lexington, and three grandchildren.

His parents were Leon and Emma K Ogle Raper.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
