Obituary for Cyril Power
It is with deep sadness that we regret to announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother Cyril Power, who passed at the age of 78 on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the peaceful An Cala Palliative Care unit of the CBRH. Born on September 30, 1934 Cyril was the son of the late Patrick & Stella (MacPherson) Power. As a young man Cyril served in the Canadian Air Force, worked in #16 coal mine and later was employed for 31 years with the city of Toronto after which he retired to New Waterford. Cyril was a member of the Army Navy Air force in New Waterford for many years. Cyril is survived by his devoted wife Margaret (MacDougall) Power, his daughters Carol (Brian) Dickson, her children Breanne and Wesley, Hillsburg, Ont, Gail Power and her children Alanna (Jay) Redmond, Amanda (Norman) Haimes, Brantford, Ont, step daughters Donna (Gordie) Warburton, New Waterford and Sonya (Eddie) Vardy & son Greg Vardy of New Waterford,...Read MORE...
