John Cook, son of Mary and Henry Cook, married Abigail, dau. of Daniel Johnson of Wallingford, Dec. 12, 17 10. He died Aug. 15, 1761, ae. 77 years. She died Aug. 15, 1761, ae. 81 years.
Children: 16 Dinah, b 1714; 17 Sarah, bJan. 7, 1717; 18 Mary, b Sept. 26, 17 19 ; 19 Tryphcnia, b 1722 ; 20 Benja min, b April 22, 1725, m Hannah Thorp, resided in the eastern part of Wallingford, on the old Durham road ; 2 1 John, b Oct. 23, 1727.
History of Wallingford, Conn, From Its Settlement in 1670 to the Present Time, Including Meriden, which was One of Its Parishes Until 1806, and Cheshire, which was Incorporated in 1780 – Charles Henry Stanley Davis
