Congratulations to Gail -- Mayflower Descendant!

About a year ago, my cousin, Gail, embarked on a rigorous journey to prove that she was a descendant of one of the travelers on the original Mayflower. Tracing through generations of vital statistics not very willing to reveal themselves, she worked diligently with a great sense of purpose. The process was time-consuming and I would imagine, at times, frustrating. Yet, Gail persisted and reached her goal, just as her ancestors did in 1620. Although the conditions of Gail's search cannot possibly be compared to the harsh conditions of her ancestors' journey, I want to applaud Gail on her hard work and steady perseverance.

Gail - I am truly proud of your accomplishment and thrilled to hear that your endeavor was completely successful.
