"Jean was baptized on 14 November 1650 at Sainte-Croix-de-Mortagne. he married Jeanne Paquet, daughter of Maurice and of Francoise Forget on 5 February 1679 at Quebec... Before his marriage to Jeanne he had a son by Claude Damise on 23 March 1676. Claude was married to Pierre Perthuis at the time.
