"I found a death record for Joseph Richard, who was the husband of Marie Des Anges Bro (Brault) also on ancestry.com. Joseph died on May 24, 1860 in Malden Township, Essex, Ontario. He was buried on May 26, 1860 in John the Baptist Cemetery, Amherstburg, Ontario. I also have a scan of Joseph's will that another family researcher sent me.
Joseph's son, Toussaint Joseph Richard was born 26 Jan 1815 in St. Denis sur Richelieu, Quebec and married Marie Angelique Benoit on 1Jul 1834 in St. Hyacinthe (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire), Quebec. I have not been able to find a death record for Toussaint, but have found Marie Angelique Benoit and their children; Joseph Toussaint, Cleophas (Edward), and Desire Barnabe (Jerry or Jeremiah)
Joseph Toussaint Richard was born 14 Aug 1835 in St. Hyacithe (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire) and married Adeline (Boivin) Drinkwine about 1860 possible in Vermont. Believe Joseph Toussaint died on 10 Apr 1920 in Barre, Worcester, Massachusetts. Joseph disappears after Adeline dies in 1913.
Henry Joseph Richard/s was born 25 Jan 1863 in Roxton Falls (St-Jean-Baptiste). Joseph married Anna Ricard on 24 Jan 1882 in Winchendon, Worcester, Massachusetts. Henry died on 1 Jan 1942 in Wichendon.
Henry Adelbert Richards was born on 30 Oct 1882 in Winchendon, Worcester, Massachusetts. Henry married Alma Victoria Duval on 30 Mar 1902 in Barre, Worcester, Massachusetts. Henry died on 27 Jun 1945.
Joseph Francis Richards was born 27 Jun 1910 in Winchendon, Worcester, Massachusetts and married Bertha Helen Libby on 6 Feb 1937 in Westbrook, Cumberland, Maine. Joseph died on 19 Nov 1959 in Augusta, Kennebec, Maine."

Hello, Erica Richards Reilly told me of this site. I too am a descendant of Joseph Richards. My name is Julie Bastille. My mother was Vivian May Richards married to William Gerald Bastille (both deceased). Vivian was the daughter of Henry Adelbert Richards and Alma Victoria Duval. So nice to see this site! I too am a descendant of Joseph Richard and Archange Breault, through their daughter, Marie Aurelie Richard, born at St. Hyacinthe, Quebec.
