Montreal, Quebec, Canada: Institut Généalogique Drouin.  Marriage recorded at Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre, Beaupre, Quebec "Charlotte-Anne entered into a contract of marriage with Etienne Mesny on 21 December 1670 when she was but 15 years old. The commitment was canceled, but a year later, on 19 November 1671, she married Pierre Frechet, son of Jean and of Jacquette Goyon, from Mazieres in Poitou, France. The wedding was at Sainte-Anne with Father Francois Fillon officiating. Charlotte had four children during the next six years - Pierre, Marie-Anne, Marthe and Angelique.
