Deceased Name: William A. Tremblay
STURBRIDGE William A. Tremblay, 81, of Podunk Road, Sturbridge, died Wednesday, October 8th privately at home with his family after a courageous and lengthy bout with cancer. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Mrs. Barbara Tremblay, 14 children, and two sisters. He is predeceased by one daughter and one grandmother.

Mr. Tremblay was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II who enjoyed westerns, singing, and being with his family. He was a loving husband, father, Pepere, and friend to many.

Calling hours will be held at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 10 H. Putnam Ext., Charlton, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13th, followed directly by a Mass of Christian Burial at the same location. A military burial will be conducted at North Cemetery, located on Maple Street behind the Sturbridge Federated Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14th.

Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA 01550 is directing the arrangements.
