Married at Quebec on 29 November 1652 (contract Audouart, on the 10th) to Madeleine Miville (1636-after 1708), daughter of Pierre and of Charlotte Maugis (8 sons and 8 daughters). He settled at Chateau-Richer at the latest in 1640, and lived there all his life. In 1681, he owned four head of cattle and twenty arpents of his land were cleared.
