Crouss in Agawam in 1906. Willard's wife, Edith Blaisdell, was born in Agawam. According to Pittsfield birth records, Willard's parents were George Crousse and Augusta Vogel from Germany. 1917 Death   Source: Agawam Town Hall -- thanks Gail! Henry Feige died April 6, 1917 Informant: W. C. Crouss My note: Henry Feige is found in Agawam in 1910 working as a farm hand for Willard C. Crouss, son of his cousin Augusta Vogel (Johanna's daughter). Henry was widowed at the time. Henry was 50 and Willard was 38. By 1915, Henry had gone to live in Webster, where his brother George was working as an electrician for one of his nephews. Henry's obit stated that when he died in Agawam, he was the guest of relatives. Sounds like he had returned to visit/or stay with Willard C. Crouss and family.

The Webster Times, Webster, Massachusetts Thursday, April 12, 1917 "Henry Fiege, for a number of years employed at the Joslin House garage, died in Agawam, Friday as the result of shock, age 56 years. Mr. Fiege was the guest of relatives when stricken. He leaves a brother, Geo. W. Fiege of Webster, a sister, Mrs. Louise Gimlech and a daughter Christine Fiege of Pittsfield. The funeral was held Sunday noon. Burial was in Pittsfield."
