Source:  Le Programme de recherche en démographie historique - Univeriste de Montreal PRDH indicates that Toussaint Toupin and Marguerite Boucher signed a contract of marriage in 1645 at an undetermined place in Quebec, Canada. "Toussaint and Marguerite Boucher, the sister of the future governor, signed a marriage contract under private agreement on 25 December 1645. Gaspard promised to give 200 livres and 'other effects' to his daughter. The bride had the right to the customary dowry. The marriage act is no longer in our registries.
