"Statement of Felix Boudrot Village of Kersawu Sauzon Parish

On 2 March 1767 appeared Felix Boudrot, living in the village of Kersau, Sauzon parish, who in the presence of Joseph Babin, Jean B. LeBlanc, Louis Courtin and Pierre Doucet, witnesses, all Acadians living on the island and says he was born at Pigiguit, Assumption Parish in 1742 of Jean Boudrot and Marguerite Comeau. Jean Boudrot was the son of Denis Boudrot and Agnes Vincent of Riviere aux Canards; Denis Boudrot issue of Charles and Marie Corporon; Charles Boudrot issue of Michel Boudrot, who came from France with Michelle Aucoin, his wife, settled at Port Royal and died there. Marguerite Comeau was born at Port Royal of Augustin and Jeanne Levron; Augustin Comeau issue of Jean Comeau and Francoise Hebert of Port Royal. Jean Comeau descended from another Jean Comeau, who came from France with his wife, settled at Port Royal and they died there. From the marriage of Jean Boudrot and Marguerite Comeau married at Port Royal in 1734, were born at Pigiguit, Assumption Parish:

1) Rosalie Boudrot - born in 1736;
2) Jean - born in 1738;
3) Bruneau - born in 1743;
4) Joseph - born in 1745;
5) Elizabeth - born in 1747.

Jean Boudrot drowned in the Pigiguit River in 1747, and Marguerite Comeau was transported to Boston by the English with her children, Rosalie, Jean, Bruneau, Joseph and Elizabeth Boudrot.

Felix Boudreau was sent by the English to Falmouth, England, married at Morlaix, St. Martin parish, Diocese of St. Paul de Leon on 23 June 1764 to Anne Gertrude Theriot, born at Riviere aux Canards on 14 October 1745, sitere-german of t Marie Magdeleine Theriot, wife of Simon P. Daigre and Marie Josephe Theiot, wife of Jean Charles Daigre, issue from the same ancestors.

From the marriage of Felix Boudrot with Anne Gertrude Theriot (born at Morlaix, St. Melaine Parish, Diocese of Treguier on 18 May 1765) Simon Bruneau Boudrot.

Such is the statement of Felix Boudrot to whom it was read. He said it contained the truth and signed jointly with the four witnesses named above.

Completed and agreed to on 12 March 1767 under the signatures of Mons. Joseph Benoist, Cure of Sauzon, of Mons. Jean L. LeLoutre, Missionary priest, and me, in charge.
